Event name: Vitalwiz seekhna seekho event
When: 21st December 2019
Where: Jinnah Convention center, Islamabad
Before the event, the host of the event Mr. Muhammad Yousaf made two live sessions on Facebook on 14th and 19th December 2019 to help the attendees to gain as much as possible from this event.
Finally, the event day came on 21st December 2019. A cold sunny day in Islamabad when all the attendees got ready for the best event of the year.
Among many people, I was one of the attendees.
With learning as my only tool and a notepad and a pen as my instruments, I went to Jinnah convention center to attend the biggest freelancing event of the year. The main purpose of this event was to motivate and inspire youth to reach beyond the stars so that they can discover, mine and master their born talent.
The event was sponsored by Realtime and vitalwiz with senator Attiq Shaikh as a special chief guest.
With a crowd of more than 2000 people including attendees, guests, speakers, ambassadors, and hosts from all over Pakistan, the main hall was jam-packed. The main advantage of this event was that the biggest freelancers in Pakistan were found at one place, which made this event, once in a lifetime opportunity for freelancers to get inspired.
The speakers who attended this event were:
Hisham Sarwar (The Guru himself)
Imran Ali Dina (GFXMENTOR)
Aaliyan Chaudry (Fiverr Superhero)
Neman Ashraf (Quora specialist)
Tanveer Nandla (Dr web)
Salman Baig (SEO specialist)
The main idea behind the event was :
،تھکنا نہیں،جمے رہو،ڈرنا نہیں،ڈٹے رہو،کامیاب ہو جاو گےہاں دیر سویر اپنی جگہ
In English, it means "Do not get tired, stick to it, do not get scared, hang on, you will be successful, everything in due time"
The event started with a single and very simple quotation:
"YOU CAN ONLY TEACH THOSE, WHO WANTS TO LEARN"
This simple quote was so effective that it grabbed the participant's attention in an instant.
Then it was time to carry on with the proceedings. First, the representatives from vitalwiz talked about their amazing initiative to empower youth by bringing start-up and incubation center initiatives and skill development programs like certifications. The main highlight of vitalwiz presentations was given by their COO Mr. Mehtab Raja in which he talked about how to create your own start-up by focusing on three targets i.e. primary objectives, target population, and needs, desires and problems.
In addition to the three targets, there was also the explanation about the 9 steps one can take to build a start-up and expand it into a business by focusing on the customers rather than the money it brings and most importantly thinking outside the box.
Then after a very informative and helpful session by vitalwiz and a speech by the chief guest, it was time to get some fresh air and eat lunch. After a 30 minute break of fresh air and lunch, it was time for the next session to start.
In the next session, it was time for the guest speakers to inspire the audience by their life story. The order in which the speakers came was:
